Recovery from Narcissistic Abuse
You are not imagining it, and it was not your fault
If life with a narcissist has left you doubting your own mind, drained of confidence and unsure who you are anymore, please know that what you went through was real, and that recovery is genuinely possible. Warm, expert support in Fareham, Hampshire, or online across the UK.
The scars you cannot see are real
Narcissistic abuse is quiet and corrosive. Through gaslighting, manipulation and control, it slowly teaches you to distrust your own memory, judgement and worth, often leaving anxiety, low mood, exhaustion and the symptoms of trauma in its wake.
Narcissism sits on a spectrum, and not everyone with narcissistic traits is abusive. But if you have been harmed by someone else's behaviour, you deserve support that takes you seriously. That is exactly what we are here to offer.

Does any of this sound familiar?
Narcissistic abuse is designed to make you doubt yourself. If several of these resonate, please take it as a sign worth listening to, not proof that you are overreacting.
You doubt your own reality
Gaslighting has left you questioning your memory, judgement and even your sanity.
You walk on eggshells

Your finances, time or choices feel monitored, restricted or held over you.

Common questions about recovery
What is narcissistic abuse?
It is a pattern of emotional and psychological harm, including gaslighting, manipulation, control and a lack of empathy, often within a close relationship. It can erode your confidence, your sense of reality and your wellbeing over time.
Why do I doubt myself so much? Is it my fault?
No. Self-doubt is one of the most common effects of narcissistic abuse, because gaslighting is designed to make you question yourself. What you are feeling is a normal response to an abnormal situation, and it is not your fault.
Can therapy really help me recover?
Yes. With the right support, people recover from narcissistic abuse and rebuild full, confident lives. Therapy gives you a safe space to process what happened, release self-blame and reconnect with yourself.
Which therapy is best for me?
It depends on you. Counselling offers space to be heard, CBT challenges self-blame, EMDR reprocesses trauma, and hypnotherapy reaches deeper beliefs. In your free consultation we will help you find the right fit.
Do I need to have left the relationship to start?
No. People come to us at every stage. Wherever you are, we will meet you there, support you, and always put your safety first.
Is it confidential, and can it be online?
Yes. Our work is confidential, and we offer support in person in Fareham, Hampshire, and securely online across the UK, whichever feels safer and easier for you.
“Healing is not about forgetting what happened. It is about reclaiming the parts of you that were taken, and finding they were never truly lost.”
